Booking & Policies
-What is your pet policy?
We love animals but unfortunately Pets are NOT allowed on the property at any time and there are no exceptions. The logistics of getting HOA approvals do not lend itself to allowing pets, and to maintain an allergen-free environment for all of our guests, we enforce a strict no-pet policy.
-What are your check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
-Do you allow early check-in or late check-out?
Early check-in or late check-out are dependent on our cleaning schedule and existing bookings. Please message us to check availability; unauthorized early check-in and late check-out may incur additional fees.
Amenities & House Rules
-Does the property have air conditioning?
Yes, but limited. The two queen bedrooms and the main living area are equipped with dedicated cooling units. The remainder of the space does not have dedicated AC but our guests have found the AC units, fans which we provide, windows and shades keep the place comfortable.
-Is there a fireplace, and how do I use it?
Yes, a fireplace is available for your use in the main living space and we provide a reasonable amount of wood per guest stay. Detailed operation instructions are located in the guidebook, and we ask that you fully extinguish the fireplace whenever it is left unattended.
-Is there an outdoor firepit?
Yes, an outdoor firepit is available for your use and we provide a reasonable amount of wood per guest stay. Detailed operation instructions are located in the guidebook, and we ask that you fully extinguish the firepit whenever it is left unattended
-Is there an outdoor grill available?
Yes, two outdoor grills are provided for guest use. One is propane, the other charcoal. We stocked the Basecamp with a full propane tank and full bag of charcoal and ask that guests pay it forward to the next guest. We also ask that you clean the grates after each use and ensure the propane or gas supply is securely turned off before you head inside.
-Are there TV's, DVD's? What is the TV code?
Yes, we have Amazon Fire Smart TVs in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The bunkroom bedroom has a DVD player with DVDs. The TV code is 14140.
-Is there a dedicated work space?
Yes, the upstairs bedroom has a desk, chair, and charging station. Our Wi-Fi is fast and reliable.
-What is the Ski-In/Ski-Out access like??
We are on the tubing trail "JJ's Slide" which has a space to ski directly to the Basecamp from either the beginner slope (Jackie's Junction) or the main mountain via "EZ Street". You may have to pop your skis off at the bottom of EZ street to cross the road pending conditions. Ski directly out the door and either cross over the tube trail at its base, or traverse behind it to access the lift which takes you to the top of the beginner slope and tubing area. From there you can either traverse across to the summit chair or hike up EZ street and then ski down to the summit chair.
