These Terms and Conditions apply to the website, reservation services, and text-messaging programs offered by Venture Inspired Basecamps for Explorers, also known as V.I.B.E. Basecamps, including Tenney Mountain Basecamp (“V.I.B.E. Basecamps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Website and reservation terms

This website provides information about V.I.B.E. Basecamps properties, activities, rates, availability, and reservations. Information on the website may change, and availability is not guaranteed until a reservation is confirmed.

Reservations and stays may also be governed by a booking confirmation, rental agreement, house rules, cancellation policy, and the terms of the applicable booking platform. If these Terms conflict with the controlling terms of Airbnb, Vrbo, Lodgify, or another booking platform for a reservation made through that platform, the platform’s mandatory terms control to the extent of the conflict.

2. SMS messaging programs

V.I.B.E. Basecamps offers two separate types of SMS text messaging:

Transactional messages may include booking confirmations, reservation updates, payment or reservation reminders, check-in and checkout instructions, access information, weather or property notices, and guest-service communications related to an inquiry, reservation, or stay.

Marketing messages may include promotional offers, discounts, property availability, seasonal announcements, local activities, events, and other marketing information from V.I.B.E. Basecamps.

Consent to transactional messages and consent to marketing messages are collected separately. You may consent to one type without consenting to the other. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing or booking any property or service.

3. Enrollment and consent

You may enroll by submitting an online form and affirmatively selecting the applicable SMS consent checkbox. Checkboxes are not selected in advance.

By providing a mobile telephone number, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of that number and are authorized to consent to receiving messages at that number. If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, you agree to notify us promptly.

4. Message frequency and charges

Message frequency may vary depending on your selections, reservation activity, inquiries, and interactions with us.

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to your mobile service plan. V.I.B.E. Basecamps does not charge a separate fee for participating in its SMS programs.

5. Opting out

You may withdraw your SMS consent at any time.

Reply STOP to any V.I.B.E. Basecamps text message to opt out. You may receive one final message confirming that your opt-out request has been processed. After that confirmation, no additional text messages requiring your consent will be sent unless you provide new consent.

You may also request to stop messages by emailing [email protected] or calling 603-557-2755. We will honor any reasonable request that clearly communicates your desire to stop receiving text messages.

Opting out of SMS messages does not cancel a reservation. When reasonably available, important reservation information may instead be delivered by email, a booking platform’s messaging system, or telephone.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information, mobile telephone numbers, and SMS consent records are described in our Privacy Policy:

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Delivery and carrier responsibility

Text-message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and other service providers. Delivery may be delayed or unsuccessful because of circumstances outside our control.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service may not be available through every carrier or in every location.

9. Changes to the SMS program

We may modify or discontinue an SMS program or change the telephone number used to send messages. Changes will not eliminate your right to opt out. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

10. Website content and acceptable use

Website text, photographs, logos, designs, and other original content are owned by or licensed to V.I.B.E. Basecamps and may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.

You may not use the website to interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, or engage in unlawful activity.

11. Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to keep website and reservation information accurate. Conditions involving weather, mountain operations, trails, roads, utilities, attractions, and third-party services can change without notice and may be outside our control.

Nothing on this website guarantees particular weather, snow conditions, recreational access, amenity availability, or the operation of a third-party business or attraction.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, except where a controlling booking platform’s terms or applicable law require otherwise.
